Early Morning Fathers Day

After a long break from graduate school I thought it was time to post another blog. This one is entitled "Early Morning Fathers Day" that consists of Lincoln's downtown from 3:30-6:30. As I have mentioned before in earlier blogs shooting at night is a magical time for me that usually produces multiple images in a relatively short time frame. At night I generally bring a minimal amount of gear and this Sunday was no exception: Canon 60D, Tamron 10-24mm, Manfrotto tripod, shooting vest w/ extra batteries, flashlight, etc. Thanks for viewing and feel free to leave a comment.

February 2015: New Direction

Hello,

This is my first post of 2015 and as many of you know that follow me on FB I have dramatically changed my style. The catalyst for change is simply wanting to challenge myself in other avenues of photography that I can still stamp my own identifiable style too. Other factors are time or the lack of, locations (closer to home), and the use of Neutral Density filters that are forcing me to slow down my process in exchange for better composed images-hopefully.

With only two weeks left of Graduate classes and a big final in April I am looking forward to a busy summer and fall of 2015. Having a photography "hit list" a mile long I'm anticipating a wide variety of locations and subjects that I can't wait to capture. Appreciate everybody's supportive comments in 2014 and look forward to sharing this years images as well. Below is an eclectic assortment of my favorite images of 2015 so far.

Feel free to leave a message or email me at any time with questions, comments, or what ever is on your mind-again thanks for looking! ronquickmail@yahoo.com & https://500px.com/rquick
