The alarm went off at 3:30am and in doing so I had camera, tripod, and cable release in hand and arrived downtown Lincoln by 4:00am. Its a peaceful time especially in the Hay-market with just the occasional car or train passing through the calm of the night. Its one of my favorite aspects about photography and one that I seldom have the opportunity to do.
It can be demanding because of the darkness when trying to gauge distances or adjusting camera settings. Also when shooting by yourself you have a tendency to contantly look over your shoulder however, thats the price you pay when shooting at night. Night shots, when done correctly turn out awesome mostly because not many people do them and the exposure times are longer producing a more crisp looking capture. Finally, I decided to concentrate on mostly pedestrian bridges because of their repetition, depth of field, and symmetry-hope you like them.
